About CasinoPilot: Players First, Rankings Second 🇦🇺

Who we are

We’re a small crew of Australian players, and we write under pseudonyms — partly habit from years in gambling communities, mostly because the testing is the thing, not the names.

• Mack — founder and lead tester. Opens most of the accounts, runs the deposit-and-withdrawal stopwatch, and has the world’s most boring spreadsheet of payout times.
• Bec — pokies editor. Counts the lobbies, checks the studio lineups, and reads RTP sheets for fun. Wrote most of our online pokies guide.
• Deaks — betting man. Runs the sportsbook tests, prices the combo boosts, and lives in the live markets during Origin season. His work anchors our betting sites guide.
• Tones — payments and promos. Handles the crypto testing, our guide to bitcoin casinos and the fine print on every welcome offer on the site.

Between us we’ve been playing and testing for the better part of a decade, and CasinoPilot is simply the notes we used to keep for ourselves, published.

How we test

Every casino on this site went through the same sequence with our own money at stake. We register a real account like any player would. We deposit — AUD by card or e-wallet, and crypto where the site takes it. We claim the welcome bonus and work through its actual terms: wagering, game weighting, win caps, maximum bets. We play the lobby the way a real player would on a Tuesday night, on a real phone over ordinary data. We ask support one easy question and one awkward one. Then we withdraw and time it, weekday and weekend, and the clock doesn’t stop until the funds land.

A casino that stumbles anywhere in that sequence doesn’t get listed, and one that slips after listing gets pulled while we retest. That’s the whole methodology, and our online casino Australia rankings are just the current standings.

How we earn

CasinoPilot earns a commission when a reader joins a casino through our links — the “Play Now” buttons and other outbound links to casinos on this site are affiliate links. That’s the entire business model, and we’d rather you know it up front.

Two things it never buys. It never changes a ranking — positions come from our testing alone, and we’ve dropped well-paying partners that failed a retest while keeping lower-paying ones that outperformed. And it never changes a verdict — if a casino slows its payouts or tightens its terms, the review changes the same week.

If you’d rather not use an affiliate link, every casino can be found directly by its own name — nothing on this site is hidden behind the buttons.

Say g’day

Found a mistake, a broken bonus code or a casino that’s slipped since we tested it? We want to hear about it — corrections genuinely make the rankings better. Everything you need is on our contact page.

One last thing

We play for fun, and we want it to stay that way for you too. Every casino we list offers deposit limits, session reminders and self-exclusion tools — use them before you need them. If gambling ever stops being fun for you or someone close to you, free and confidential support is available any hour of the day from Gambling Help Online on 1800 858 858.
